2006 Victorian Twitchathon
9 teams participated in this year's race. 5 teams raced in the 24 hour race and 4 in the 8 hour race. In the end the 24 hours race was decided by just three birds. Congratulations to the Bush Turkeys for winning the 24 hour race and commiseration to the Seven Years Twitchers. In the 8 hour race the Robin Rednecks won with a very respectable total, well done.
Sponsorship for the race is directed towards the Birds Australia - Victoria Research Award, an award of excellence for ornithology research.
